COLLECTIVE VOICE REQUIRED TO OPPOSE STEEL IMPORT DUTIES

Dear Steel Industry employer

As per NEASA’s previous communiques, the International Trade Administration Commission (ITAC) is proposing far-reaching and possibly industry-destroying anti-dumping duties on certain hot-rolled and long steel products being imported from Asia.

It is imperative for each and every importer, supplier, merchant and manufacturer to make individual submissions on these proposed duties in order to either prevent the imposing thereof, in its entirety, or to reduce the proposed rate in respect of individual businesses.

NEASA therefore calls on every steel employer to contact their own importers and merchants and implore them to oppose the duties in their individual capacity.
