ROAD FREIGHT INDUSTRY SETTLEMENT REACHED

Dear Road Freight Industry employer

As previously communicated, the parties to the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry entered into discussions to extend the current wage agreement for a period of 2 years. 

NEASA can confirm that the parties have agreed to extend the current agreement with the only amendments being across-the-board increases on wage rates, minimum entry wage rates and allowances as set out below: 

Year 1: 7% to be implemented from 1 March 2025.
Year 2: 6% to be implemented from 1 March 2026. 

This agreement is in line with the mandate received from NEASA members in the sector.
