ADMINISTRATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION AGREEMENTS

EXTENDED
Dear Steel Industry employer

 

The Minister of Employment and Labour on 7 October extended both the Administration- and Dispute Levy Agreements to non-parties with effect from 17 October 2022.

 

This means that all employers in the Industry will have to pay an increased administration- and dispute levy as set out below: 

• Administration Levy: R1,96 per week for weekly paid employees and R8,49 per month for monthly paid employees, with an equal amount to be deducted from the employee and remitted to the MEIBC; and 
• Dispute Levy: R0,71 per week for weekly paid employees and R3,07 per month for monthly paid employees, with an equal amount to be deducted from the employee and remitted to the MEIBC.
