2026 SKILLS DEVELOPMENT: SETA Submissions.

SETAs have opened their annual submission window to submit Workplace Skills Plans (WSP)/Annual Training Reports (ATR) to benefit from available grants.
 
By submitting a WSP/ATR, you will benefit in the following ways:

• claim back 20% of your Skills Development Levy (SDL);
• highlight skills gaps in your organisation – the difference between the skills required for a job and the skills employees possess;
• implement training to minimise the identified skills gaps;
• maximise points earned under the Skills Development priority element for B-BBEE; and
• opportunity to apply for ‘discretionary grant’ funding to address ‘critical and scarce skills shortages’ identified in your industry during application windows. 

The deadline for the submissions is 30 April 2026.
