WESTERN CAPE FRUIT GROWERS AND PACKERS

Dear Sector Employer

Based on the outcome of international research, the CCMA have implemented a Workplace Mediation service, effective from 1 March 2016, aimed at resolving conflict that may arise between the employer and employee(s) or between employees at an early stage (i.e. before disciplinary action is taken by the employer, or a grievance lodged by the employee or statutory dispute measures are pursued).

This pilot project is limited to fresh fruit growers and packers in the Western Cape.
