The President has once again illustrated great statesmanship in the manner in which he updated South Africans on the current status of the Covid-19 pandemic and the dire state of the economy earlier this evening.

We commend you, Mr President, for the manner in which you execute your presidential role during this very challenging time. We, in turn, will play our part in overcoming this pandemic and returning prosperity to South Africa.
