URGENT WARNING

FRAUDULENT COMPENSATION FUND EMAILS

Dear employer

An employer has recently received an email, seemingly from the Compensation Fund, demanding payment in order to obtain a Letter of Good Standing (LOGS) and to avoid “deregistration”.

Please see example below:

This email is fraudulent, the banking details provided on the form are not those of the Compensation Fund and the email address utilised does not belong to the Compensation Fund.

We wish to warn employers to not make any unusual payments prompted by emails such as these.

We request employers who have received similar emails to forward these emails to rona@neasa.co.za.
