The author points out that although her scenario (of the president’s game plan) is far-fetched and preposterous, it is not her game plan, but that of the president and those caught up in his web.

On 5 September 2016 Mathews Phosa made the following statement: ‘Looters are standing at the gates desperately waiting to loot natural resources’. Well, with the dismissal of Pravin Gordhan, the looters have now entered the gates.

The times lying ahead of us will demand of us to be resolute – and more than ever so.
