Dear Gerhard

I have taken the liberty to write to you. We are a downstream steel manufacturer and have been a member of your organization for many years. I do get the daily e-mail updates from you. Thank you for what you are doing for the steel industry.

We have placed orders as long back as July this year that will now only be delivered in the new year. All our orders were placed long before they announced that they will not accept any more orders for delivery this year.

We have now run completely out of Raw-Material and have performance contracts with our clients. We are liable to compensate our clients (the hardware stores) for loss of income if we cannot deliver.

This is a disaster.
