APPLICATION TO BECOME PARTY TO THE BARGAINING COUNCIL FOR THE CIVIL ENGINEERING INDUSTRY

 
Dear Industry Employer
 
NEASA, as the largest employers' organisation in the country, is increasing its footprint in the collective bargaining arena.
 
NEASA is already party to three of the largest bargaining councils in the country namely the MEIBC, MIBCO and the Road Freight Bargaining Council where we successfully promote the interests of our members.
 
We believe, however, that the time is right to also venture into other sectors where we represent a substantial number of employers.
 
We are therefore considering applying to become a party to the Bargaining Council for the Civil Engineering Industry in order to represent the interests of our members in this sector.
 
NEASA members falling within the scope of the Bargaining Council are already bound by the agreements of the Council, due to the extension of the Council’s agreements. Therefore, it can only be beneficial to NEASA members should NEASA become party to the Council as we will be able to influence the outcome of agreements.
 
In order to apply to become a party to the Council we require a mandate from our members within this Sector. We therefore request employers to provide us with their feedback by clicking here.
