The National Employers’ Association of South Africa (NEASA), in partnership with a specialist service provider, can assist business owners with rechannelling their tax money into one of NEASA’s unique community upliftment initiatives.  
 
These tax-beneficial initiatives are structured around a unique business model and specific focus areas, allowing business owners the opportunity to support a cause close to their heart, while simultaneously contributing to the upliftment of the community. This also includes companies who seek to secure the available points for skills development, enterprise development or socio-economic development on their BBBEE scorecard. 

1. NEASA ENTREPRENEURSHIP INITIATIVE

The NEASA Entrepreneurship Initiative focuses on addressing youth unemployment and enrols young people between the ages of 18 and 28 in a learnership program, training them to become entrepreneurs. It is funded by businesses who want to utilise their available tax rebates to support the youth, while also securing available points for skills development in the process. 
 
2. NEASA SUSTAINABLE FOOD PRODUCTION

The NEASA Sustainable Food Production Initiative is a sustainable, tax-effective learnership solution to enable entrepreneurship in agriculture by utilising your tax rebate.
 
This initiative enables participating businesses to create opportunities for currently unemployed youth by empowering them with a monthly stipend and seed-capital to grow gardens to address food security.
 
3. ‘YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SERVICES’ (YES) INITIATIVE

The YES 12-month quality work experience program equips unemployed South African youth to gain valuable, quality workplace experience to become more employable. Youths between the ages of 18 and 35 qualify to participate in this program.

The learners can be placed at your business or, if you prefer to outsource, they can be placed via placement partners to help create much needed jobs in communities.

The effective implementation of the YES initiative can increase your BBBEE recognition level in a cost-effective way.

4. SPORT IN YOUR COMMUNITY

Through the innovative concept of ‘sport as a business, sport as a career’, the NEASA Sport Initiative assists businesses to implement the ‘Youth Employment Service’ (YES) initiative while supporting aspiring athletes in their communities to realise their sport dreams.  

By participating in the NEASA Sport Initiative, you also equip future sport stars with basic business skills, while living their dream on the sports field.
