NBCRFLI Negotiations - Deadlock reached

Dear Industry Employer

The negotiations under the auspices of the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry has reached a deadlock.

The union parties to the Council have declared a dispute against the employer parties and we have therefore entered the dispute phase of the process.

The parties are still far apart in terms of a possible settlement and will now engage in dispute meetings in an attempt to break the deadlock and reach consensus.

The first of these meetings has been scheduled for 16 and 17 August 2018.

We will engage members for a final mandate if and when a proposed agreement is reached. Alternatively, we will keep members informed of possible industrial action should parties fail to reach an agreement.
