Dear employer

The National Minimum Wage Commission (‘the Commission’) has invited role players to, on or before 1 October 2021, submit written representations concerning possible adjustments to the national minimum wage, prior to the Commission sending its annual report and recommendations to the Minister of Employment and Labour. The Minister will thereafter publish the report again, for further public commentary. No date has been set for this publication yet.

In order for NEASA to compile meaningful written representations to the Commission on the national minimum wage, we request all employers to participate in a short survey for this purpose.

NEASA aims to accurately determine the capacity and ability of businesses and employers to afford any possible increases to the minimum wage.
