We are circulating this survey on behalf of an independent research institute with whom NEASA collaborates.

The Covid-19 lockdown has had a significant impact on the sustainability of the SMME sector. Just over a week ago, the President announced a phased-in approach aimed at systematically re-opening the economy.

We would like to now assess the likely impact of this phased approach on the SMME sector. In particular, we aim to evaluate the new Level 4 scenario in terms of its effectiveness in stimulating sufficient momentum to re-ignite the economy from the SMME perspective.
