PRACTICAL PROBLEMS WITH IMPLEMENTATION OF REGULATIONS
Dear NEASA employer
Due to the extremely short period between the gazetting of the regulations and the implementation of the lockdown, many essential services employers may be found wanting in respect of compliance with the legal requirements in order to continue operating.
This problem is compounded by the fact that the CIPC portal dedicated to register essential services employers, is not functioning.
NEASA anticipates that these issues may well impact on the ability of essential services employers to continue production or deliver service once the lockdown is implemented.
Essential services employers are therefore requested to complete this enclosed survey following the first day of the lockdown.
Surveys must be completed by no later than 12:00 on 27 March 2020.
