COMPENSATION FUND AUDITS 

URGENT ASSISTANCE FOR EMPLOYERS 

Dear employer 

The Department of Employment and Labour (DoEL) has recently launched a large-scale Compensation Fund audit-drive. The DoEL has appointed several auditing firms, whom they have instructed to perform 4-year audits (from 2019 to 2022) on all selected businesses. They operate as DoEL staff with DoEL email addresses. 

A selected business will receive an auditing notice and will be requested to submit all earnings documentation, for all employees, for the 4-year period mentioned above.  

If an employer receives such an audit notice, we advise that they immediately contact NEASA by sending an email to coid@neasa.co.za.
