AMCU’s Intended Protest Action – 20 March 2018

Dear NEASA employer

The Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU) have notified NEDLAC of its intention to institute protest action on 20 March 2018. The aim of the protest action is to highlight general economic conditions and mine safety issues.

Employees who wish to participate in this protest action are free to do so and may not be disciplined for participating.

The ‘no work no pay’ rule is applicable to all employees absenting themselves from the workplace in order to participate in the protest action.
